The Books That Made Me from the founder of the Glasgow Women’s Library Dr Adele Patrick
Dr. Adele Patrick is the founder of the Glasgow Women’s Library and winner of Scots-woman of the Year. She studied at the Glasgow School of Art and after graduation she supervised the Gender Art and Culture Studies at the School before studying for a PhD at the University of Strathclyde. She also co-founded Women in Profile to look at how Glasgow could be re-branded away from a ‘masculinised’ culture to be more inclusive in time for Glasgow’s status and European City of Culture in 1990. Adele will be sharing her most cherished books with us.
