Looking out to
New Horizons….
They say every Summer ‘has its own story’ and to prove that point the New
Exhibition at Thistle Gallery, which runs throughout July and August, features the iridescent work of over forty leadIng contemporary artists…..who certainly have some artistic stories to weave.
In addition to the gallery’s usual exhibitors ~ Linda Park, Andy Cross, Sandra Moffat, Stanley Bird, Jackie Henderson, Ian Rawnsley, Sheila Fowler, James Somerville Lindsay, Margaret Evans and Gail Stirling Robertson, to name but a few, several new artists will be exhibiting for the first time.
Welcome to the Gallery are: Anne Marie Pinkerton whose ethereal and deeply profound paintings leave an indelible mark on your memory, Sarah K Speight whose Highland cows with ‘attitude’ will captivate and delight, ceramicist from Fife Melanie Edwards whose bisque fired exhibits are earthy and organic and Karen Rae, who makes a welcome return to the Gallery with her intricate artwork which is always a talking point.

Look out for a new selection of work from artisan glass artists Dorte Pape with her ever popular glass birds, Alexa Hope, who has a new range of decorative glass panels and tea lights and Amanda Johnson, whose opaque small vivid vessels are exquisite.
So do make your way to Thistle Gallery …always approachable but never predictable!
