Memoir, Music, Non-fiction – Aye Write 6 – 16 November, 2025
Fun Lovin’ Criminals frontman and 90s icon Huey Morgan joins co-founder of Glasgow City Music Tours, Fiona Shepard to talk about his aptly named memoir, The Fun Lovin’ Criminal.
Hear Huey describe his remarkable journey from journeyman to rock star. This twisty true life tale starts in the early 90s as Morgan, a former United States Marine, struggles to cope with civilian life as he returns to NYC. A life of petty crime soon follows, until he sets out on the road to stardom. But can he shake off his association with the New York criminal underground before his chance at the big time goes begging?
Huey’s indomitable and distinctive storytelling style brings the grit and glamour of 90s New York to life. He will also perform a few of his songs during the event.
