Scottish Writers’ Centre: Hand on the Baton
Tuesday, 22 April, 2025 , 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.
‘Break out your poetry, fiction and song…We’re back.’
SCW will present a night of thanks, celebration and looking forward.
It would be impossible to thank Scottish Writers Centre’s outgoing co-chairs Sheila Wakefield and Christie Williamson enough but they’ll give it a good go!
Sheila and Christie’s dedication, time and love for all things SWC have been immense duiring their time as co-chairs. This included working relentlessly to ensure SWC made it through the challenging years of Covid. The group is delighed to return with this event and especially pleased to be back in their spiritual home at the CCA.
So, roll up, stamp your feet, and raise the roof, then nice and quiet, of course, for the readings!
There will be a limited number of five-minute reading slots available. If you wish to read, please email Tom Murray Please stipulate whether you wish to read in person or online.
There is no theme to the readings – the topic is entirely up to you.
