Tortoise in a Nutshell – Ginger at The Tramway
6 – 16 December, 2023
The Tramway, 25 Albert Drive, Glasgow G41 2PE
Puppetry, performance and play in an interactive show for ages 3 – 7
It’s time to get baking!
Eggs crack – Butter melts – Puffs of flour fill the air –
The perfect platter of gingerbread people is ready for the oven.
But one of these biscuits has other ideas…
Ginger tells the tale of a misshapen gingerbread person, discarded and marked for the bin. Follow our biscuity hero as they inspire a picture-perfect kitchen to come alive in a cacophony of chaos.
Created by multi-award-winners Tortoise in a Nutshell, in association with Lyth Arts Centre and Platform.
This 1-hour event includes a 35 minute show, followed by 25 minutes’ of gingerbread decorating.
“One of Scotland’s most innovative and versatile visual theatre companies.”
2 performances at 1.30pm to 2.30pm and 4.30pm – 5.30pm on:
Wed 6 – Sun 10 December | Tue 12 – Sat 16 December
(Please note there are NO shows Monday 11 December)
